I wrote the poem Forever I Love You and turned it into a song. I’ve been to some weddings recently and it seemed to be a good fit for a wedding song. This is a first take, rough. But it’s pretty close to the right feel.

The poem is:
Forever is contained in a single moment
And not through the passage of time
The future’s uncertain, the past is forgotten,
But here, right now, you are mine
Forever is the world that’s around me
Causing everything I feel and see
And forgot I created, the joy and frustration,
In this vast pyramid I call me
Forever is played in each heartbeat
In the rhythm of every song
It’s the rising and falling of music that’s calling
You back to where you first came from
Forever is the time left for wonder
As the mysteries befuddle our eyes
Then all of a sudden, we see what was hidden,
And swear it was there all the time
Forever is our time left for sharing
On the journey from here to above
It may end in a moment, but God only knows it
So forever I give you my love
