This song came together around 1981. A reggae groove, very simple. Originally it was drums base and one guitar. Max Camfield played the guitar tracks and arranged the harmonics. I did the vocal hook in octaves. I imagine the howling of a wolf. A jazzy wolf.
Bob Schott took this song into the studio in Boston and we recorded it on 24 track tape. Ronny Trueherz played guitars. Max Camfield was on base this time. Tom Gimble did the sax solo and other sax lines.
In 2012 Max and I laid down tracks for a third time. Max is on guitars.
